Par Avion co X Dovedale Design Studio: 21st – 26th of May

PAR-AVION CO. x DOVEDALE DESIGN STUDIO PRESENT:

Norfolk-based contemporary furniture brand par-avion co. are joining forces with Battersea-based luxury craft brand Dovedale Design Studio in the heart of London for one whole week of events, talks, demonstrations and a pop-up display that will thrill the senses.

Be prepared for an exploration of materials, familiar and unfamiliar, through a specially curated selection of products demonstrating the utmost commitment to handcrafted quality.  Both brands represent an ongoing dedication to preserving a sustainable design economy, while exhibiting stunning craftsmanship at the highest level.

Par-avion co. is a furniture and lighting design partnership consisting of Simon and Monica Cass.  Showcasing their original ‘pi stool’ alongside many new furniture and homewares launches, their work is evocative of a carefully crafted process that mixes traditional craft and modern styling.

Dovedale Design Studio is a luxury product design partnership consisting of Oliver Tebbutt and Charl Heynike.  Their limited edition runs of Damascus steel and bog oak chef’s knives and Spanish cedar-lined humidors will be on display alongside new pieces evocative of their contemporary yet traditionally crafted style.

Monday 21st of May through to Saturday 26th of May 11 am – 7 pm

 

Events Schedule:
 
Monday 21st: Open at 11 am. At 5 pm there will be opening drinks and demonstrations until 7 pm
Tuesday 22nd: Open 11 am – 7 pm
Open to public 11 am – 7 pm
Thursday 24th: Open at 11 am. At 5 pm there will be a weaving demonstration until 7 pm
Friday 25th: Open at 11 am. At 5 pm there will be drinks and canapés with a chefs demonstration with the knives and trays
Saturday 26th: Open at 11 am. At 5 pm there will be we a woodworking demonstration and talk until 7 pm. The talk will be about sustainability, bog oak, and material provenance.
